The standard box assembly contains a G2 coarse particle filter, an F7 pre-filter, an H13 HEPA filter and a carbon filter. When changing filters, the entire filtration box is replaced, thereby ensuring maximum hygiene is maintained, since no direct contact is made with the filters. The filtration box is an accessory that can be ordered separately.

H13 HEPA is an abbreviation for High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance. Good for filtering 99.95% of the air from chemicals, fine dust, viruses and bacteria.

The expected service life of the set is 10 to 12 months. The lifespan of the filter set depends on the
operating conditions (duration of use, the amount of dust in the surrounding environment, and the predominant types of procedures in the patient’s mouth). The extractor is equipped to measure actual filter clogging.
Clogging is indicated by an orange LED light on the fan box. When the orange light is lit, the filtration box must
be replaced. Replacing the entire box ensures maximum hygiene safety, because you will not touch the filters.

With comparable devices, a technician must come to replace the filters, this is not necessary for our machines. The filterbox is easy and safe to replace. For safety, the entire cabinet must be replaced to prevent contamination.

When do the filters have to be changed?

The filters must be replaced when the orange LED light on the fan box lights up. The orange LED light is lit up by a sensor that measures actual filter clogging. This method of monitoring filter clogging is unique among this type of product and guarantees maximum use of the filter assembly’s filtration capability. This means that the user gets the maximum possible lifetime out of the filters with guaranteed filtration efficiency. Most competing products estimate filter clogging using indirect methods regardless of the actual operating conditions (the dustiness of the specific location, the duration of operation, and the air output used). Under standard operating conditions (low dust levels, 4 hours of operation per day, and medium air output), the estimated service life is 12 months.

How do I dispose of a used filtration box?

Place the clogged filtration box into the bag that you receive in the box with a replacement filtration box. Put the bag containing the old filtration box into the box that the replacement filtration box came in, and dispose of it like ordinary municipal waste.

How effective is the filtration?

The G2 filter, F7 pre-filter, H13 HEPA filter and the carbon filter collect more than 99.95% of the pathogens. The recovery efficiency is therefore comparable to that of FFP3 category respirators.
